We are looking for teams of children with (and without) autism, aged 11-15 years, to work together to make some interesting, fun and simple objects.
By asking children to make simple artefacts, we hope to identify how different ways of learning from others allows cultural knowledge to build up over time.
We are also interested in how children with autism can overcome their social and communication difficulties, in order to collaborate and pass on knowledge to others.
We are working with schools across Devon and Cornwall. If your school is interested in taking part, please register your details!
And we will contact you to arrange next steps.
Where do the experiments take place? We are happy to travel to the school's location, if it is within 100 miles of Penryn, Cornwall. Our researchers are experienced in working with children in school settings and are DBS checked. What age do the team members need to be? We are looking for children between the ages of 11 - 15 years.
What happens after I sign up? A member of our staff will contact you to arrange a date, time and place to discuss logistics and finer details.
