We are looking for teams of 10 people to take part in our experiments in
which we will ask you to make some fun and simple objects.
By asking groups of people to make simple artefacts, we hope to
identify how different ways of learning from others allows cultural
knowledge to build up over time.
The teams that make the best object in their category will
We are working with art groups, sports clubs, knitting societies, community groups, book clubs, yoga classes, groups of friends and many more!

Where do the experiments take place?
Teams can either take part at the Penryn Campus of Exeter University or we are happy to travel to a location of your choosing, if it is within 30 miles of Penryn, Cornwall.
My group/society has less than 10 members - can we still take part?
We require each group to have 10 people, however other teams have made up their numbers by inviting spouses, friends or family members to join in with their team.
Do I have to be in a group or society?
No, you can
simply get 10 friends together to make up your team.
What age do the team members need to be?
All members of your team need to be 16 or over.
What happens after I sign up?
A member of our staff will contact you to arrange a date, time and place for your team to take part.
How long does the experiment take?
From start to finish the whole thing takes about one hour and we promise it is a lot of fun!
